The Indian Economic Journal is the main Journal of the Indian Economic Association. It is published quarterly and it is a fully refereed Journal. Its main objective is to provide a forum for dissemination of the research findings of scholars from all over the world, on Issues of analytical, methodological and practical value to the professional community. The IEJ is now in its 55th year of publication.

The Journal has essentially three sections as follows:

	Research Articles
	Communications for Debate and Research
	Book Scan and Book Reviews.

All submissions made to the Journal would be sent to Referees and the Comments and Suggestions made by the Referees would be communicated to the authors. Top experts in the respective fields would be approached for referee purposes.
Submissions made to the Journal would be acknowledged immediately. The articles would then be sent to the referees. The processing up to the stage of taking final decisions would normally take about 3-4 months, depending upon the time taken by the referees and by the authors in revising their papers.
