The Indian Economic Journal
Guidelines for Communications for Debate and
Research and Book Scan/Book Reviews
The Indian Economic Journal has three
important sections, included in it with the
objective of helping the professional
community in the pursuit of their Research
career. These sections are the following:
 |
Research Articles |
 |
Communications for Debate and
Research |
 |
Book Scan and Book Reviews. |
Research articles are full length
articles based on the research done by the
respective authors. In the Section entitled,
"Communications for Debate and Research",
the Journal would publish short
Articles/Notes/Write ups, which serve the
purpose of disseminating knowledge about
some new Issues, new Tools of analysis, new
Results and Hypotheses on Issues of
contemporary relevance. This section is
expected to serve the purpose of bridging
the information gap that exists today
between the academic world, the policy world
and the industrial world. It is also aimed
at expanding the awareness of the readers of
the Journal, about the various new
developments in the literature on the
subject.
The Section on
"Book Scan/Book Review" is aimed
at bridging the information gap that exists
between the research world and the
publication world. This Section would
contain brief, one page/half page write ups
on New Arrivals in the literature and also
full length Book Reviews of the New
Publications, brought out in the different
parts of the world. This Section is aimed at
giving information on the Reports of New
Expert Committees, Seminar Proceedings, and
Study Reports, which are brought out by
Individuals and/or Institutions in the
different parts of the world. It would also
contain, occasionally, Statistical Tables on
select Themes of Contemporary relevance.
We appeal to all the
readers of the Journal to send their
Write-ups on various themes, with a view to
strengthening the contents of these two
Sections.
